August 23, 1pm (Eastern Time) | 100% online event.
Join us to learn about piano technique based on biomechanics of the human body to transform your playing. In this event, Hélio Tanomaru will be presenting the 5 fundamentals of the piano technique for you to be able to play faster, looser, lighter, with comfort and no pain.
Because what is taught is not enough:
Concepts as allowing the wrist to be flexible, practicing slowly, aiming for a relaxed way of playing and using the weight of your arm are in fact importat and relevant. But there are far more important concepts that are needed to achieve a good or high level of piano performance.
Do you feel that your technique is blocking you from playing as you wanted?
Every master was once a beginner. But some few talented people discover by themselves about how to use the body to play the piano, but most people develop very slowly, usually never reaching their dreams with the piano.
It doesn't matter how disciplined you are, how much effort, time and energy you put in to the piano practice... It always seems something is lacking for an effortless and beautiful playing. Or maybe you even play very well, but it takes a lot of effort, and you feel unconfortable while playing, feeling fatigue, pain or even having injuries such as tendonitis, epicondylitis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
